Role Description: Supervising Associate, Brand Marketing and Communications (Sponsorship Activation Support)

Position Summary: The Supervising Associate in Brand, Marketing, and Communications will play a pivotal role in the pre-planning, execution, and post-event support of EY -Led and 3rd Party Sponsorship activations, and Signature Client Events ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence across all these stages. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this individual will manage a variety of deliverables, coordinate with internal teams (TME, Brand Experiences, EY Service Lines, Sectors and Alliances/Ecosystem Teams) and external partners, and oversee administrative tasks related to sponsorship engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Pre-Event Planning:

  2. Collaborate with marketing and business team leaders and stakeholders to understand sponsorship objectives and deliverables.

  3. Develop detailed project plans leveraging existing templates, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking.

  4. Coordinate with creative teams to produce event materials such as banners, brochures, and digital content.

  5. Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing and procurement of promotional items working across with Firm teams/resources.

  6. Team with TME resources (when applicable) to ensure inclusive planning across the project portfolio when event experiences are additive to a sponsorship.

  7. Ensure compliance to all policies, including brand guidelines across all sponsorship-related materials.

  8. On-Site Event Execution:

  9. Oversee the setup of sponsorship booths, displays, and branding elements at events.

  10. Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site logistics and troubleshooting.

  11. Coordinate with event organizers to ensure smooth integration of sponsored activities.

  12. Support the team in engaging with attendees, capturing leads, and facilitating networking opportunities.

  13. Manage staff schedules, responsibilities, and on-site coordination.

  14. Post-Event Activities:

  15. Lead the breakdown and post-event wrap-up, ensuring all materials are accounted for and properly stored.

  16. Analyze event performance against objectives, providing reports and insights to the marketing team.

  17. Coordinate with communications teams to develop post-event content, such as thank-you emails, social media recaps, and case studies.

  18. Manage the follow-up process with leads and partners to maximize sponsorship ROI.

  19. Administrative Responsibilities:

  20. Maintain comprehensive records of sponsorship agreements, contracts, and related documents.

  21. Track expenses and manage budgets to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.

  22. Facilitate internal communication and updates regarding sponsorship activities.

  23. Assist in the development and refinement of sponsorship processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, event management, or sponsorship activation.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and CRM tools.

  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required by event schedules.

Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the Marketing Manager and works closely with other members of the Brand, Marketing, and Communications team, as well as cross-functional stakeholders.

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $72,100 to $134,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $86,600 to $153,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
