The opportunity
The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 9-Friday, August 8, 2025. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week.
The intern would be working with the Neurosurgery department. We have administrative offices in Hunnewell and our clinical space on Fegan 9.
What you’ll do
This intern would be working with the whole department learning the administrative tasks that our PER, and Program Coordinator roles perform.
Once a full understanding of the basic administrative duties is achieved, the goal would be to have this intern work closely with our Brain Tumor Center team.
This position is fully onsite
What you’ll get
By the end of the internship, the intern should be comfortable with Epic, and well-versed in the workflows of Neurosurgery.
They should have learned the basics of workplace etiquette, how to be part of a workforce team, and the importance of customer service.
Who you are
You are an undergraduate college student interested working in healthcare
A willingness to learn
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office and the desire to be part of a team.
Recruitment process
Internship opportunities: We aim to have all summer internship opportunities posted by February 28. They will be posted on a rolling basis as managers determine their availability to host an intern.

Onboarding: Those selected for the internship program will complete onboarding by May to ensure a smooth start to the program.
