Job Description

The Online Services Administrator ensures overall quality in online courses by providing copy editing, as well as accessibility and functionality testing. Manages review of course content performed by quality assurance contractors. Verifies that course look and feel is consistent, and that they meet the development standards of the University. Collaborates with Instructional Design team and other members of the office to maintain an online style guide. The Online Services Administrator serves as the primary resource within the office to help ensure the university's compliance with copyright policies, interfacing with designers, faculty, support administrators and the library as appropriate. Maintains department relationship with University bookstore and publishers. Oversees preparation of textbook and course readings list.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S. in library sciences, English, or a related field and 3-5 years of work experience. Excellent copy editing, writing, and communication skills. Strong organization and time management skills.
