Description

Our client, a successful and growing law firm, has an opportunity for a Paralegal in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves working in the legal industry, with a focus on employment law and litigation.

Location: Boston, MA

Role: Litigation Paralegal

Comp Package: $75,000 - $90,000 (DOE) plus OT pay

Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 days remote

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and litigation of class action wage and hour cases by communicating with clients and class members via phone and email, gathering and organizing case information, and managing document review and production for pretrial and trial purposes.

  • Draft, prepare, and file legal documents in both state and federal courts while ensuring adherence to court rules and deadlines.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets relevant to legal cases using Excel and various database systems.

  • Support the drafting of discovery documents and responses, including interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions.

  • Manage attorney calendars and coordinate the scheduling of depositions, hearings, and trial dates to ensure streamlined case progression.

  • Professionally communicate with clients and class members, addressing inquiries and providing updates with courtesy and professionalism.

  • Maintain focus and flexibility while handling diverse tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring a consistent and organized workflow.

  • Perform general administrative tasks such as organizing litigation binders, providing phone coverage, and supporting day-to-day operational needs.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years working as a paralegal or in a similar role.

  • Experience with litigation is a must.

  • Experience with labor & employment or class action is a plus but not required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify key insights.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
