Boston University PART-TIME LECTURER, Questrom School of Business in Boston, Massachusetts

Seeking applications for a non-tenure track, part-time lecturer for the academic year 2023-2024 primarily for the undergraduate Management Communications course at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.

In Questrom communications courses, students learn to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively, both in writing and verbally. Specifically, students learn to: craft and deliver well-structured arguments to diverse audiences; write simply and clearly in a professional tone; understand and apply principles of visual communication; master presentation delivery; and respond thoughtfully and comfortably to others in the moment.

Required Skills

  • Instructors who teach Management Communications must have a passion for undergraduate education

  • Teaching experience and/or business experience is valued

  • A master’s degree or higher is required

  • Candidates with PhDs are encouraged to apply

  • Experience in teaching communications skills is also highly valued; those with significant communications expertise may be eligible to teach our graduate courses.
