CVS Health Pharmacist, Retail Customer Care - Must Reside in RI, MA or NY (Remote) in Boston, Massachusetts

Position Summary
Work as part of the Retail Pharmacy Customer Care Center’s Patient Care Team team to ensure that each customer has a positive interaction with CVS Pharmacy. Deliver complete satisfaction by serving each customer according to Customer Care standard operating procedures and CVS Health’s purpose, strategy and values.
Training Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm; Shift following training variable, may include evenings and weekends (EST)
Customer Service:
•Deliver high quality services to customers, patients, store team associates, and physicians in a high-paced call center environment
•Perform comprehensive medical reviews and create takeaways with action plans for CVS patients
•Provide relevant clinical information to patients when necessary
•Handle each call in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
•Able to effectively assess and diffuse difficult situations
•Escalate issues to appropriate leadership as needed
•Adhere to Call Center key performance indicators at all times: secure privacy and confidentiality as required by HIPAA, company and departmental guidelines, adhere to organizational procedures, employ effective communication methods to maintain call control, document appropriate comments in patient records, act in alignment with all State Regulations and Federal Laws and have ability to interface / use required call center technology.
Operations:
•Effectively communicate and interact with all healthcare professionals
•Participate in required call center operational meetings and training sessions
•Support ongoing training and development programs for call center support staff
•Ensure current licensure through timely completion of required professional development (CE’s)
•Demonstrate appropriate professional conduct at all times
Required Qualifications
• Active Pharmacist license in state of residence
• Extensive pharmacy knowledge and experience in the practice of pharmacy
• Advanced problem solving and decision making skills.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
• Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Advanced growth mindset skills (agility and developing yourself and others).
• Advanced skills in execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting).

• Ability to quickly assess and adapt to constantly changing situations
• 5-7 years work experience
• Registered Pharmacist (RPh) required
• Must reside in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, or New York
• Ability to obtain Pharmacist license in State of Rhode Island within 90 days of hire (candidate must obtain Rhode Island temporary Pharmacist license upon hire.)
Preferred Qualifications
• Retail pharmacy experience
• Practical application of pharmacy technology and call center processes and procedures preferred
Education
Pharmacy Degree (Bachelor or Doctor) required

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$55.53 - $93.08
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
