The Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Department of Neonatology is seeking pediatricians for full-time neonatal hospitalist positions. These positions include primary clinical responsibilities in the newborn units and delivery room at Cambridge Hospital and Beth Israel Lahey Health hospitals, as well as rotation through Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Cambridge Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is part of the Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) network, a vibrant, innovative health system, based in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston's Metro North region, and dedicated to providing essential services to all members of the community, especially diverse and vulnerable patients. Its perinatal program includes 1200 deliveries per year and a level IB licensed neonatal unit.
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is a patient care, teaching and research affiliate of Harvard Medical School. The perinatal program includes more than 5,000 deliveries/year with an active high-risk maternal-fetal medicine service, a 62-bed level III/II NICU, and a well-established multi-disciplinary family-centered care model. The Beth Israel Lahey Health clinical affiliates are located within Eastern Massachusetts and include 9,000 deliveries per year and provide a broad range of clinical care from level 1B to level 2B Special Care Nurseries.
The successful candidate should be board certified or an active candidate for board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics. Graduating residents and junior faculty are encouraged to apply.
