The Coordinator is a new role supporting the University?s growing experiential affiliation needs, and is responsible for managing the internal operations associated with that growth. The Coordinator will work with all schools at the University to research new affiliation opportunities, support ongoing agreement renewal, and help develop and maintain an agreement tracking system. The Coordinator will also communicate with stakeholders and manage internal and external relations.
Research existing medical organizations to identify potential sites for experiential education opportunities leveraging both internal and external sources of information. Develop and maintain agreement tracking system, mining information from existing agreements, searchable on multiple fields. Develop, implement, and oversee the maintenance of confidential filing and record-keeping, distribution of materials, and other communication and information management systems. Manage affiliation agreements with clinical affiliation organizations, including quick response to requests for affiliation agreements from both internal and external stakeholders by collecting and consolidating required information and coordinating with legal team to develop new agreements. Identify and evaluate the methods for improving workflow and cost effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement. Conduct pre-meeting research on external organizations. Develop a thorough understanding of experiential education requirements of all University disciplines. Coordinate communication across all University experiential teams. Facilitate communication between HR departments in affiliated organizations and internal University resources in support of soon-to-be MCPHS University graduates and alumni regarding potential employment opportunities. Evaluate and standardize procedures. Proactively collaborate with clinical coordinators to assess current agreements that may need to be renewed.
