New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) seeks adjunct faculty to teach a course in Interprofessional Communication in the doctoral program during Spring 2019 term, from 1/7/2019 - 4/26/2019. This course applies best practices in interprofessional communication in healthcare to the successful integration of acupuncturists into allopathic settings.

Responsibilities:

Provide educational instruction to doctoral students in an online course using Blackboard Learning Management System.

Qualifications:

Required: Master?s degree in a healthcare profession or a related discipline Doctorate preferred Experience with interprofessional communication models and approaches in healthcare environments Experience with acupuncture or integrative medicine preferred Ability to work effectively with diverse populations Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Teaching experience in a University setting preferred Knowledge of student-centered teaching methods, curriculum, and education programs preferred Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
