Working with the Program Director, the adjunct faculty member provides course instruction and implementation of course activities for Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy (PEP) Program.


Additionally, the adjunct faculty member is expected to develop learning objectives for each class in order to maximize student achievement, and teach one or more graduate level courses in the various areas of Health Economics/Outcomes Research (HEOR), including specialty in-depth courses as well as more general survey courses. Beginning in Fall 2019, the program will be offered online as well as on-campus. Adjunct faculty are needed for both programs. While the needs for specific courses will vary by semester, the curriculum includes courses in health economics research, epidemiology, statistics, pharmacoeconomic applications, decision analysis and meta-analysis. Additional related courses associated with particular adjunct faculty expertise will also be considered.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.


Required: Advanced degree (PhD, JD, MPH, or equivalent) and a minimum of five years of related work experience

Desired: Teaching experience Experience with Blackboard and online teaching
