The Clinical Placement Coordinator - NESA (New England School of Acupuncture) reports to the Director of Clinical Education and provides administrative support for clinical education for all programs and sites.


Act as liaison to 65+ assistantship sites in community settings and manage list of approved sites, affiliation agreements, student placements, credentialing, and evaluations Work with Clinical Director to coordinate student placements in treatment centers in Newton and Worcester for separate programs with different calendars Support clinical internship placements at multiple allopathic facilities, collaborating with Clinical Director, site coordinators and faculty Manage affiliation agreements with clinical internship sites, as well as student placements and evaluations Attend planning meetings on both campuses and in satellite sites Work with Clinical Director to determine number of student placements needed each term and what type of student experience is needed Administer an effective program for placement of students Prepare orientation documents and manuals for all students entering the clinical year Assist Clinical Director with in-person orientation for new interns annually Handle all credentialing, including CORI checks, CPR verification, and health clearance, prior to beginning of new placements Communicate with students, faculty, and clinical affiliate staff Maintain support for faculty and students in clinical settings Track approved adjunct faculty and preceptors Develop and maintain tracking databases Maintain records of evaluations of clinical sites, faculty preceptors, and students Assist in distribution of teaching and administrative materials to clinical faculty Assist the campus administrative assistant with duties as assigned

Required: Bachelor?s degree Strong organizational, administrative, and database skills Ability to respond effectively and sensitively to inquiries and concerns Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively with deadlines in team environment Ability to be customer-focused Ability to travel between the Worcester and Newton campuses as well as among clinical sites.
