Colleges of the Fenway Position Opening at Colleges of the Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts

The successful candidate will join an innovative, studio-centric, and social justice-oriented department of BFA and graduate education at the first public art college in the country. They will teach in and provide leadership for our historic Saturday Studios program, where students teach Saturday morning art classes to local area youth. Our practice-based and studio-centered curriculum will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to teach courses in art teacher education, theory, pedagogy, and/or contemporary studio practices.

Required Minimum Qualifications: ? Demonstrated expertise in culturally-responsive pedagogy ? Active studio practice & ability to teach robust studio courses ? 10+ years experience teaching art in urban schools ? Terminal degree (MFA/PhD/EdD) or ability to complete a terminal degree within 5 years of hire OR Master?s Degree in Related Field + Substantial Record of Achievement

Other Considerations: ? Strong Exhibition Record ? Expertise in equity and access for social justice ? Expertise in contemporary art discourse and practice
