Summary
As a Pricing Coordinator, you will provide support to the generation of revenue through administrative support, enabling effective communication and providing historical and other data in support of proposals. You’ll work closely with Pricing Leadership and Analysts, Business Development, Marketing, Legal Project Management, Billing Operations, and Staff Leadership.
Location
This position can sit in any of our US offices and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Administer Pricing Intake System & ensure team is aware of all applicable deadlines and deliverables.
Conduct thorough research and data collection to fulfill assignments leveraging firm tools and databases and internal points of contact.
Prepares reports and analyses that highlight the financial performance at the client and matter/project level related to budgets, production, fees and revenue.
Work directly with Billing/Rates, Pricing team and firm attorneys to identify rate renewal opportunities, develop proposals, receive Practice Group approval and communicate/submit per the relevant deadline(s).
Supports project management and reporting efforts. Liaises with project participants and follows up routinely to ensure effective communication and completion of tasks.
Coordinate with Pricing leadership and Pricing Analysts to contribute to financial models for assessing financial impact and profitability of pricing proposals. Assist in the development of creative, workable pricing solutions in response to client demands, including alternative fee arrangements.
Perform historical analytics of matters in coordination with Pricing leadership and Pricing Analysts to identify key risks and drivers of fee magnitude to build robust pricing models for broader implementation.
Compiles and communicates relevant progress, wins, risks to Pricing/Firm Leadership in a timely manner.
Work on special projects in support of the Firm’s strategic initiatives
Performs other duties and ad-hoc analyses as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives.

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are required to interact and build collaborative relationships with various colleagues and business stakeholders, including with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties. Must have strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, take initiative and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be a self-starter. Experience with MS Word & Excel. Previous experience in a law firm desirable.
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or any related field.
Minimum Years of Experience
- 2 years of experience with auditing, quality assurance, compliance, analytics or matter/rate setups, preferably in a law firm environment.

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Work Environment
The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work, the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firm’s discretion in the future.

The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $30.39 - $47.31 per hour depending on the candidate’s geographic market location.
The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
