The Presales Principal Architect is a highly skilled technical expert responsible for driving complex technical sales cycles. This role requires a deep understanding of our products, industry trends, and client needs to effectively position our solutions to align with customer needs.

What You'll Do at Pega:

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and expertise. Serving as a trusted advisor to Clients, providing expert guidance on complex technical challenges.

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of enterprise software architecture, design patterns, and architecture best practices.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify new opportunities and address customer needs proactively.

• Deeply understand our product portfolio, including features, capabilities, and limitations.

Customer Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, including technical decision-makers and executives.

• Understand customer business objectives and challenges to position our solutions as the best fit.

• Develop compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions and their alignment with customer needs.

• Be able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Conduct technical workshops and presentations to educate customers on our products and technologies.

Sales Enablement:

• Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team throughout the sales process.

• Contribute to the development of sales collateral, such as whitepapers, case studies, datasheets, strategies, and tactics.

Who You Are:

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in presales, architecture, or a related field.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven track record of success in a presales role, with a focus on complex software solutions.

• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of software development methodologies, programming languages, and cloud technologies.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently, build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in [relevant technologies, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Pega CLSA, CCNP, CISSP, TOGAF, Zackman, etc.].

• Experience with [specific software development methodologies, e.g., Agile, DevOps].
