100% Remote

Prominent insurance brokerage firm seeking a Production Support Manager to lead a support team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60 - $70 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the end-to-end support for our software applications in production environments.

· Monitor production systems and ensure availability and optimum performance.

· Ensuring stability, reliability, performance of our software systems.

· Lead and manage team of production support engineers providing technical guidance.

· Establish and maintain effective incident, problem and change management processes.

· Maintain detailed documentation on production support procedures and playbooks.

· Acquire and/or develop and implement tooling to enhance operational efficiency.

· Ensure team leads process for critical incidents, overseeing troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolutions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents efficiently.

· Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployments of software solutions and minimizing production outages

· Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on system health, incident progress and long-term improvements.

· Stay up to date on industry best practices, emerging technologies and support methodologies.

Experience Requirements:

· Strong understanding of ITIL practices and principles.

· Proficient in monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

· Experience in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines great communication skills

· Ability bring structure/process to team while maintaining comradery

· Bonus Knowledge: Datadog, Azure, Okta, ServiceNow

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
