Job Description

The Academic Program Administrator manages procedures and operations for all aspects of prospective and current on campus students. Main areas of responsibility include: the management of all aspects of graduate student activity, ISSO, admissions through graduation; running the new student activities; contact and resource for all full and part-time faculty; assist in course scheduling; supervision of student employees; Data Analysis and Database Management; Assist in retention efforts; Coordinate and manage graduation ceremony and serve as a Liaison for all external departments at BU, outside vendors, service providers, and corporate partners. Metropolitan Colleges Administrative Science Department offers Nine Master degree and several certificate programs.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S. required. Three to five years related work experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced office. Strong networking and interpersonal skills including the capacity to relate to students, faculty, alumni and community members. Data base knowledge helpful. Looking for a detailed oriented individual, with planning skills to meet deadlines and has the ability to work independently as well as with the team.
