Boston University PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Sargent College, Occupational Therapy in BOSTON, Massachusetts

Program Coordinator will work closely with the Program Director of the on-line post-professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate (ppOTD) program to provide programmatic support. Will serve as the admissions liaison by overseeing the on-line admissions process; answering inquiries, scheduling virtual open house sessions hosted by the Program Director, preparing pp-OTD applications for review, circulating applications for review, recording admissions decisions, generating decision letters, and tracking acceptances. Will be responsible for maintaining student databases and working with the Sargent College Financial Manager and Program Director on the budget. Will also work with the Program Director and Graduate Financial Aid Administrator on merit scholarships for students. Support faculty in the pp-OTD program with course preparation, Blackboard Learn, content for the Sargent College website, and requesting desk copies. Assist with financials, ordering, and events for pp-OTD such as the booth for the American Occupational Therapy Associations (AOTA) annual conference. Work on special projects as needed. Position is 50% part time.

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree required and 3 years of experience preferably in an academic setting. Individual must be able to work independently, initiate regular duties, follow through on projects/tasks, and monitor work for accuracy; strong attention to detail, excellent writing and overall communication skills, professionalism, strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills required.
