The Research Assistant I will be responsible for:
Managing the large colony of mice (breeding and genotyping)
Performing behavioral analysis of various rodent models.
Maintaining records of results and methodologies into a log of work performed. Compiling and helping analyze data, preparing charts, graphs, and results of studies.
Carrying out all laboratory activities in compliance with applicable regulations and protocols.
To qualify, you must have…
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacology, Physiology or a closely related field,
Excellent rodent handling skills are essential. Ideally, the applicant must have some experience of mouse phenotyping and behavioral testing.
Understanding of the principles of mouse breeding.
Evidence of good organizational and interpersonal skills, an ability to work to agreed timelines and willingness to learn will also be expected.
Two years commitment is highly desired.
