The Research Assistant II will be responsible for:
Working with PI to design experiments
Performing a variety of routine laboratory experiments and procedures, utilizing standard laboratory equipment, recording and checking results for completeness and accuracy
Maintain mouse colonies including breeding, genotyping
Maintaining records of results and methodologies in a log of work performed.
Maintaining equipment, lab area and supplies in a neat professional manner.
Processing orders for supplies and/or animals
Contributing to the team within and between departments and organizations
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in biology, neuroscience, or related fields
At least 1 year experience managing laboratory mouse care
Good problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
