The Senior Grants and Finance Administrator is an integral member of the CAR Finance team and provides direct support for proposal development, preparation and submission of materials to Sponsored Programs Pre and Post Award financial operations for the Center. Under the direction of the Director of Financial Operations, and in collaboration with Center's leadership, the primary responsibilities include the development of budget materials for gifts and grant proposals, monthly budget to actual review, quarterly forecasting and projections, working with principal investigators on the completion and timely submission of deliverables, requesting extensions when needed or modifications to the grant spending when appropriate. The Sr. Grants and Finance Administrator is responsible for managing the PAR certification process for the Center and will submit cost distribution and personnel changes as needed. They will be responsible for account reconciliation and approval of financial transactions for sponsored accounts and gifts. The Senior Grants and Finance Administrator will coordinate contractor/consulting purchase order agreements and subawards. This position works on a daily basis with the Center's Associate Directors, researchers, staff, principal investigators, departmental and college administrators, Office of Sponsored Programs Pre and Post Award Financial Operations, and Development. The position will ensure accuracy and the reliability of data and activities within all pillars at the Center. This position requires strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
