Job Description

Assist in the coordination of the undergraduate English major and minor programs (about 625 students). Major aspects of coordinating the undergraduate program include all the planning, preparation and execution of tasks associated with Department Commencement; assisting the Associate Chair in course scheduling, course catalog preparation; preparing and maintaining information and files on all English majors; and directly serving undergraduates along with the Director of Undergraduate Studies by assisting with the processes of credit approval, transfers, degree requirements and registration.

Required Skills

Associate's degree, B.A./B.S. preferred. Prior experience with student advising is strongly preferred, as is event planning experience. Excellent organizational and administrative skills, a high level of self-sufficiency, and strong interpersonal skills desired. Must be able to balance competing priorities. One to three years of related experience.
