Job Description

Assist students and faculty with navigating the Sociology Program. Responsible for all services to undergraduate students, including advising freshman and sophomores, assigning faculty advisors, and assisting with student enrollment in sociology courses. Coordinate and implement departments course schedule each semester. Organize commencement and other department events, and develop promotional flyers, emails, and website updates for department events, including seminar series and annual Morris lecture. Oversee daily flow of office, website, department spaces, and technology, and assist in hiring and management of workstudy students. Serve as first point of contact for Sociology Department.

Required Skills

Two years of college or equivalent, B.A./B.S. preferred, and at least one year of relevant experience.
