Boston University SENIOR PROGRAM COORDINATOR, College of Engineering, Undergraduate Programs & Records in BOSTON, Massachusetts

This Senior Program Coordinator is responsible for performing all duties and functions required by the Undergraduate Records Office. The position is responsible for accurately assessing a students graduation status and officially graduating the student; safeguarding, updating, and maintaining confidential student records; assisting in the course registration and enrollment process; implementing College policies and solving problems for students, professors, academic counselors and administrators. This person also acts as liaison between the College and the Office of the University Registrar.

Required Skills

  • Assoc/Voc./.Tech. 3 + years of experience.

  • Bachelor's preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience a high level of interpersonal skills (verbal and written), meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage a large variety of responsibilities simultaneously, an understanding of FERPA laws and regulations, computer skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity while interacting with official academic records.

  • A motivated and perceptive individual who can anticipate issues and applicable resolutions.

  • This individual must perform all duties with accuracy, confidentiality and integrity due to the sensitive nature of the information accessible
