We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team full-time (40 hrs/wk) as a senior research assistant for an NIH funded study. The sr. research assistant will be part of a team working on a randomized control trial comparing intervention strategies for and gathering information on pain and depression in patients receiving buprenorphine. As a part of the research team, the research assistant will oversee participant recruitment, enrollment, and retention activities; conduct data collection and analysis; management of study staff, and reporting; and run weekly team meetings and ongoing trainings. Applicants should have a Class C drivers license and a car (travel will be reimbursed).
Manage recruitment, enrollment, and retention activities in line with approved protocols
Oversee data collection, entry, management, and reporting. Work with PI to analysis and evaluate data. Experience with REDCap and reference database applications (e.g., Mendeley, EndNote, RefWorks)
Manage all study interventionist scheduling and field all interventionist questions. Act as primary point of contact for all study-related questions
Supervise junior staff and student workers on all day-to-day operations.
Oversee study regulatory documentation and submissions; IRB amendment preparation; participate in grant application submissions
Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required. 1- 3 years work experience in a clinical research lab and knowledge of REDCap, Mendeley, EndNote, RefWorks, federal funding and IRB protocols.
