Boston University Visiting Assistant Professor, College of Arts & Sciences, Philosophy in Boston, Massachusetts
The Department of Philosophy (https://www.bu.edu/philo/) at Boston University invites applications for a one-year non-renewable Visiting Assistant Professor position starting July 1, 2023. We have teaching needs in Ancient Philosophy, Modern Philosophy, Existentialism and Medical Ethics. The Department of Philosophy believes that the cultural, social, and philosophical diversity of our faculty, staff, and students is vitally important to the distinction and excellence of our research and academic programs. Required Skills
Successful candidates will be outstanding teachers committed to active philosophical engagement with students. Teaching experience and Ph.D. prior to appointment are expected. Teaching load 2/2; semester-system.
