Responsible for the repair and installation of telephone and security camera systems facility wide. Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electronics circuits and related equipment. Responsible for small engine repairs as assigned. Responsible for directing and supervision of assigned staff. Responsible for any construction projects assigned. Responsible for the care and supervision of any inmates assigned. Performs other duties as required.
Department of Public Security Systems Certification Clearance (S- License)
Fiber Optic Certification
Possession of trade school certificate or higher in the electronics field. Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in the electronics, electro-mechanical field and pneumatics field. Working knowledge in the safe use of power and hand tools.
This is a Civil Service position. Candidate must take and pass the next Civil Service Examination for this title and score must be reached in order to be considered for a permanent appointment. Please note that salaries for union positions are determined according to the provisions of the respective collective bargaining agreement.
