Job Description:
C/L and general psychiatrist at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (LHMC)
LHMC, member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is recruiting full or part-time consultation-liaison psychiatrists. The psychiatrist will help manage a robust and collegial interdisciplinary C/L service covering approximately 400 bed Academic Medical Center, as well as supporting our emergency department. The C/L service is a primary teaching service for third year Tufts University School of Medicine students, with regular opportunities for teaching. Additional teaching opportunities are available. This is an ideal position for an early to mid-career C/L trained psychiatrist with interests in developing further C/L expertise in emergency psychiatry, transplant psychiatry, critical care management and collaborative care. LHMC is a member of the Beth Israel Lahey Health System, and there are rich opportunities within the System for career growth. There is an experienced psychiatric C/L service director and Division Chair on site to provide clinical leadership. Academic appointments are with Tufts University School of Medicine. The Division is currently a training site for students from across multiple professions including physicians, advance practitioners, psychologists, and social workers.
