Summer Kindergarten Expedition Program - 2024 Position: Up to 4 elementary ESL or SEI-endorsed teachers Requirements: Elementary ESL license or SEI-endorsement Description: Meet with Kindergarten Expedition summer team (May/June) to design a targeted program to prepare incoming kindergarten multilingual students for the kindergarten academic and social experience Collaborate with Summer Kindergarten Expedition staff to develop and implement a 2-week (Operational hours: Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. July 8 through July 18, 2024) targeted language-rich kindergarten curriculum, Participate in planning sessions on June 24 and 25, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. pending snow days. Experience working with kindergarten age multilingual learners Assist with program evaluation upon completion of the program Other responsibilities, required for program success Location: BECC Compensation: In accordance with Burlington Educators' Association Unit A contract (prorated in accordance with hours or days worked) " />
