Job Description:

Vice Chair of Academics and Research, Division of Gynecology

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center

Burlington, MA

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, part of Lahey Health, is seeking a full-time, Academic Gynecologic Surgeon to join its Division of Gynecology as Vice Chair of Academics and Research. This is a growth position within our expanding division and the surgeon will see patients at our Burlington office while enjoying the opportunity to operate at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, as well as our Beth Israel Lahey Health affiliates. We are looking for a physician leader and educator with a history of research and academic endeavors. The ideal candidate will be an individual with a clear commitment to teaching at the medical student, resident, or fellow level and a history of research success. They will work closely with the Chair to enhance and support the academic mission of the Division.

Required Experience:

  • Applicants must be board certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Eligibility for or current licensure in Massachusetts

  • Background consistent with appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor
