Job Description: The Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division of Lesley University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is looking for a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach one section of Anatomy and Physiology I with Lab in Spring 2019, (beginning January 23rd, 2019) with the opportunity to continue in subsequent semesters on an adjunct basis. This course is an integrated study of the internal and external structures of the human body and the physical relationships among body parts from the cellular to the system levels of organization, including molecules and cells, tissues, and the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. Furthermore, it includes the study of the function of all the parts of the human organism. Students will engage in an in-depth systemic study of the body, its functions and malfunctions, which will expand their comprehension of the relationships among body systems. Anatomy and Physiology 1 with Lab (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:45-9:15 pm) Requirements: Master's Degree in a relative discipline. College level teaching experience. Must be authorized to work in the United States; if you hold a visa, your visa status must allow you to work at Lesley University. Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate Degree in relative discipline. Experienced instructors with expertise in and familiarity with inquiry-based pedagogies that engage students in active learning about the world.
