Additional Qualifications:Must have outstanding technical, tactical and strategic knowledge of golf. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to work with and relate well to a diverse group of athletes, administrators, and University constituents, needed. Must be able to establish yourself as a respected coach to students, faculty, alumni/ae, media representatives, and the broader University community.

Must be administratively self-sufficient and be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and web applications. Should have basic video filming, editing and analytical ability.

The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of success. S/he should also have strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently. Must be able to respect and comply with guidelines set forth by Harvard, the Ivy League, and the NCAA. Valid drivers' license required.

A DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) check is required because you will be driving recruits as well as student-athletes during out-of-town travel.

This position is a 92% FTE, meaning you will work 11 months out of 12.Job Function:Athletics Duties & Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Head Coach, you will help run the inter-collegiate Men's Golf program at Harvard. You will help instruct and develop student athletes; assist in making strategic decisions in contest situations; oversee the strength and conditioning of the athletes; assist in developing and implementing the overall recruiting strategy; and handle administrative responsibilities associated with the program operations, including recruiting logistics and planning, team travel details, and equipment ordering.
