ASSISTANT DEAN FOR GLOBAL EDUCATION, Global Education and Career Development-Office of Experiential Learn-Global Education Team, to oversees study abroad programs and services and provide day-to-day management of the Global Education team. Will manage academic exchanges and online systems and data; contribute to efforts related to students’ health and safety abroad; collaborate with MIT faculty, academic departments and offices, and foreign partner universities; deliver programming for students; and supervise a staff member. Will report to the associate dean for Global Education.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: at least five years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including experience developing and managing study abroad programs and advising students on study abroad or other international educational experiences; systems/database management experience; presentations skills; ability to create strong working relationships with faculty, staff, and others; proven record of administrative competence; successful project/program management and data management skills; organizational skills; and supervisory experience. Starting salary range: $65-80,000
