ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, CURRICULUM MANAGEMENT AND ADVISING, EXECUTIVE DEGREE PROGRAMS, Sloan School of Management-Executive Degree Programs, to collaborate with program staff, faculty, students, and vendors in the delivery of MIT Sloan’s world-class Executive MBA degree programs. Will play a key role in coordinating ongoing logistics, operations, and delivery of MIT Executive MBA courses in a dynamic and challenging business environment. Duties will include determining and managing program requirements, including internal and external resources; understanding the nature and purpose of courses and communicating that information; managing participants’ questions and concerns by determining which to resolve individually, which to elevate to the director-level, and which to interpolate into overall updates, information, and policy; negotiating individual student concerns; and collaborating with the associate director to set policies and processes. REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least two years of administration experience; experience with program/curriculum management, action learning/experiential learning, and/or student affairs; ability to work closely and supportively with students, lead and deliver complex and challenging programs, establish effective working relationships, multitask, and work in a pressured work environment; excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and oral and written communication skills; and experience with executive education or mid-career students. Seek a self-starter who is able to work effectively both independently and as part of cross-disciplinary teams that include staff from within the Executive Degree programs and other departments, faculty, and students. PREFERRED: Sloan or MIT experience, management or supervision experience, and project management experience.
