Demonstrated experience in career counseling, advising and/or mentoring.
Demonstrated experience in event planning and project management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (specifically, presenting in front of others and group facilitation).
Flexible work style suited for small, team oriented, highly productive, entrepreneurial office.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with a sense of humor and empathy.
Willingness to work nights several times a month during the academic year and participate in occasional travel.

Counsel a large volume of JD students (1L, 2L, and 3L), about all facets of a public sector career choice/job search, including advising on how to determine “fit,” the diverse range of practice options and the career decision-making process. Keep current on public interest hiring trends.
Plan, develop, and manage career programs and workshops.
Attend all office key functions.
Manage larger-scale projects under office’s purview/related to office’s mission.
Conceive of/develop and write varied materials for office publications and website.
Review and edit student resumes, cover letters and other application materials.
Conduct outreach to public interest employers.
Performs other duties as necessary.
