Position Description
The Department of Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School invites applications for a tenure track position with a rank of Assistant Professor. We seek an outstanding scientist addressing fundamental questions in all areas of neurobiology, ranging from structural, cellular, and molecular neuroscience to systems and computational neuroscience.
The position offers outstanding scholarly and scientific resources in a collegial and collaborative department with strong ties to related departments throughout Harvard University, the Harvard-affiliated teaching hospitals, and the Boston neuroscience community. The position also offers the opportunity to mentor exceptional trainees with strong interests in neuroscience, biological sciences, and related fields. Candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent graduate degree.
Applicants should submit a one-page cover letter, a C.V., and a three-page statement of research (containing a one-page summary of research contributions and a two-page description of plans for future work) by the application deadline of November 14, 2024. Applicants should also include at least one representative publication from any period of their research career, with a maximum of three publications (or preprints).
