ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, SPECIALTY MASTERS CAREER EDUCATION, Sloan School of Management, to represent the Career Development Office of MIT Sloan to ensure the highest levels of career preparation for 200+ Master of Finance and 60+ Master of Business Analytics students in Sloan's top-ranked, rigorous programs. Will provide career development support and services for these students, working closely with the director of career education, senior associate director of specialty masters, and other Career Education team members; create and deliver comprehensive career education curricular materials and programming; spend a significant amount of time individually advising and coaching students; and engage with student clubs, alumni, employers, and faculty to inform and support the career education process. REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in related field and at least three years of professional work experience, preferably in career services. PREFERRED: master's degree; solid knowledge of analyst and associate level finance and business analytics careers; professional experience in finance, career development, and/or corporate recruiting; strong career development coaching, collaboration, and communication skills; comfort presenting to large and small groups, both in-person and online; ability to work strategically, manage projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines; team orientation; focus on impact with both student and team success; desire to innovate, continuously learn, and experiment; self-motivation; and a desire to help students reach their career goals.
