ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CAREER EDUCATION, Sloan School of Management-Career Development Office (CDO), to represent the CDO and ensure the highest levels of career preparation for 800+ Master of Business Administration (MBA) students, the top-ranked flagship degree program at Sloan, forty-eight-plus Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) students, and ten-plus Master of Management Science (MSMS) students. Will provide career development support and services for these students, working closely with the director of career education, the senior associate director of MBA career education and advising, and other Career Education team members across programs; create and deliver comprehensive career education curricular materials and programming; spend a significant amount of time individually advising and coaching students; and engage with student clubs, alumni, employers, and faculty to inform and support the career education process. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of professional work experience. PREFERRED: master’s degree, preferably an MBA or similar graduate degree; professional experience in career development and/or corporate recruiting; strong career development coaching, collaboration, communication, and strategic thinking skills; comfort presenting to large and small groups, both in-person and online; ability to manage projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines; team orientation and focus on impact for both student and team success; desire to innovate, continuously learn, and experiment; self-motivation; appreciation for MIT Sloan’s mission “to develop principled, innovative leaders to improve the world and to generate ideas that advance management practice”; and a desire to help students reach their career goals.
