  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills; proficiency in office technologies and web- based applications as well as experience with or interest in teaching and learning technologies; ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff; meticulous attention to detail; ability to work independently and as a dedicated team player in a fast-paced environment; discretion with confidential information; sound judgment and follow through.

  • Must be able to effectively prioritize assigned work against multiple deadlines and have the capacity to respond and adapt to last- minute changes.

  • Must be a quick learner, self-starter and possess a strong commitment to continuous process improvement.

Additional Information:This position is based in Boston and some in-person on-campus work will be required, and flexible/remote work is an option. Any remote work must be performed in a state in which Harvard is registered to do business (CA*, CT, MA, MD, ME, NH, NY, RI, and VT). The Harvard Medical School is not able to provide visa sponsorship for this position.Department:PME - Curriculum ServicesPre-Employment Screening:Identity Schedule:35 hrs. per week | Monday - Friday | 7:30 am - 3:30 pmJob Function:General Administration Position Description:Reporting to the Assistant Director of Curriculum Services (Basic/Social Science Curriculum), the Course Coordinator provides dedicated administrative support to Pathways preclerkship and post-PCE courses in the Program in Medical Education. The primary responsibilities of the Course Coordinator include creation and posting of electronic resources and course data on learning management and administrative systems; coordination of patient interview sessions; provision of timely in-venue support to course sessions; coordination of locker assignments; and assessment support, including exam proctoring and generation of data. The Course Coordinator assists the Course Managers with written communications regarding course sessions to teaching faculty, students, administrative staff and patients; prepares assessment content on the exam administration platform; reserves classroom and meeting space; provides meeting support services; coordinates course and faculty evaluation administration; and assists with resource and data management. The Course Coordinator may provide cross-team coverage and be assigned other ad hoc course projects as required.
