Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 3 years’ experience playing college football or managing football operations (while attending college or after college).

Additional Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and managerial skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs as well as XOS Video.

  • A good understanding of Division I collegiate football and the role that athletics plays within the University.

  • Proven written and communication skills essential and must have the ability to work independently and to exercise judgement and discretion.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines.

  • Experience developing and managing budgets and financial reporting.

  • Detailed oriented and have strong organizational skills.

Department:AthleticsPre-Employment Screening:Criminal, DMV, Education, IdentitySchedule:Full-time, 12-month position. Work schedule will include evenings, nights and weekends.Job Function:Athletics Job-Specific Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing plans and strategies affecting all aspects of running the Football Program.

  • Managing and overseeing the annual budget for the program.

  • Developing the schedule of Football facilities and facilities used by the Football program.

  • Liaising with the equipment room staff and Harvard Athletics Sports Medicine.

  • Managing in-season and operational travel for the Football Team.

  • Managing all aspects of video filming and production for the Football Program.

  • Lead technician for CoachComm on Football gamedays.

  • Acting as the primary contact for outside vendors for the Harvard Football Program.

  • Developing and implementing an effective community relations strategy.

  • Managing awards program for student-athletes.

  • Planning annual fundraising events for Harvard Football Head Coach.

  • Managing day-to-day work of the Football administrative coordinator and student workers.
