IBM Quantum is looking for a Global Lead who will be responsible for driving the growth and success of IBM by collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and management consultancies to build capabilities on the IBM Quantum platform. You will develop and execute strategies that will enable partners to scale quantum services that drive adoption of the IBM Quantum platform and expands partner engagements. This position requires the ability to manage relationships at all organization levels, from operational teams to senior executives, ensuring that partners are equipped to build practices and deliver quantum services to their clients. The candidate must be adept at managing ambiguity and adapting quickly to changes in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
Your role and responsibilities
As the global lead for GSIs and consulting partners, you will be responsible for the following
Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio GSIs, management consultancies, and other key business partners across multiple geographies.
Serve as a quantum computing subject matter expert and trusted advisor to partners as they define their quantum vision and strategy.
Lead projects and initiatives with partners, ensuring execution against agreed milestones and outcomes.
Ensure consistent, transparent and timely communication across internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.
Act as a strong advocate for partner success, while maintaining accountability and alignment with IBM Quantum's growth objectives.
Work closely with internal and external technical teams to build and expand partner capabilities with the latest tools on the IBM Quantum platform.
Facilitate partner enablement programs, providing training, resources, and support to help partners build practices and deliver quantum services.
Serve as a strategic thought leader and support partners in speaking engagements at both IBM-led and partner-led events.
Required technical and professional expertise
PhD, Masters, or other advanced degrees in a quantum computing related field.
3+ years experience in quantum computing, with a strong understanding of the IBM Quantum platform and technology roadmap.
3+ years of client-facing experience in management or technology strategy consulting, bonus if experience working with GSIs, management consultancies or similar strategic partnerships.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple objectives and projects.
Strong relationship building, negotiation skills, and client management experience with a proven track record in influencing executive stakeholders
Preferred technical and professional experience
Hands on experience with Quantum Computing with credentials (e.g. Qiskit Developer Certificate, Qiskit Advocate etc.)
Experience in top management consulting firms
Experience building and executing go-to-market strategies
Strong presentation skills with public speaking experience
