Kforce Instructional Designer in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Kforce's client training team is hiring an Instructional Designer to design and develop instructional material and assessments to support our eLearning and classroom client training resources and certification program. These materials support and enable long term customer success. Clients access this content on our training portal. This position is in Cambridge, Massachusetts (MA). Essential Functions:

  • Apply current research and theory to the practice of needs analysis, instructional design, and course development and evaluation skills

  • Work as directed to develop entry and advanced level courses for customer audience

  • Work cross functionally with key subject matter experts

  • Like to solve puzzles, and make and build things

  • Be a process oriented and logical thinker

  • Support processes to improve team efficiency and productivity

  • Certificate, Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree in Instructional Design

  • 3-5 years of content authoring, instructional design instructional writing experience

  • Software training experience

  • Experience developing assessments for online training and certification

  • Proven track record applying instructional design concepts and principles to enhance learning experience

  • Course development experience leveraging multimedia including animation, audio and video

  • Experience with standard training authoring and development tools including Adobe Captivate, Camtasia

  • SaaS platform and/or relational database experience a plus

  • Technical acumen and ability to understand and communicate complex concepts quickly and accurately

  • MS Office suite

  • Learning management platforms

  • Demonstrate solid skills in the use of standard authoring tools to design and develop dynamic and engaging eLearning and classroom learning and assessments

  • Strong writing skills

  • Customer user experience and visual design skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a high growth environment with the ability to prioritize, schedule, and meet deadlines

  • Ability to quickly learn our technology
