Philips Intern-Design Quality-Cambridge, MA-Summer 2025 in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Are you interested in an Intern opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in 3 month paid intern opportunities at our site in Cambridge, MA. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

Your role:

  • Supporting Risk Management activities and of all design related activities during the product/system lifecycle

  • Supporting technical assessment on product quality performance and post-market product quality analysis

  • Supporting cross-functional team to ensure that hardware design meets quality and compliance standards for every milestone

  • Producing and completing Quality Engineering documents under direct supervision. Supporting quality related problem solving and root cause analysis during design and manufacturing

  • Performing timely, detailed quality engineering tasks like: assessing product designs and reviewing test and other performance data, analyses market feedback, completing or assisting with in root cause analysis and quality problem solving.

  • Currently majoring in an engineering field on track to receive a bachelor degree.

  • Experience working within a team to achieve goals with defined timelines and deliverables.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time efficiently. Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $23.00 to $28.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
