About The Job

As the Director of Data Engineering and Analytics, you will lead the development and implementation of data solutions to support market access and pricing decisions. You will oversee the creation of web-based models, collaborate with data management and offshore reporting teams, and ensure data quality and consistency. Your role will involve advanced analytics, developing interactive dashboards, and partnering with various departments to support strategic initiatives

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of data engineering and analytics solutions to support market access and pricing decisions.

  • Oversee the creation of web-based models that integrate large customer data sets, ensuring data quality and consistency.

  • Collaborate with data management teams and offshore reporting teams to streamline data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools.

  • Perform advanced analytics on patient longitudinal data sets and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Partner with various departments, including Pricing, Contract Development, Value and Access, Account Management, Finance, Forecasting, and Data Management, to support strategic initiatives.

  • Identify and leverage additional business systems and analytics capabilities to enhance data-driven decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

About You

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Payer business.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in analytics leveraging large datasets.

  • Proven experience in data engineering, including ETL processes and data integration.

Soft and technical skills :

  • Proficiency in data analysis and modeling.

  • Expertise in web development and data integration.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in machine learning.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools.

  • Understanding of longitudinal and formulary data assets.

  • Ability to interpret data and create narratives to inform business decisions.

  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical business and market access.

  • Working knowledge of the US healthcare system and reimbursement environment.

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage timelines and lead project teams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest methodologies and technologies in data analysis and machine learning.

Education :

  • BA or BS Degree

  • Advanced Degree

Sanofi's Bridgewater, NJ office is scheduled to relocate to Morristown, NJ on or around March 24, 2025 and this role will then be based in Morristown, NJ.​
