Position Description
Professor Stratos Idreos solicits applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in Harvard Computer Science, starting on September 1st 2024. We are interested in researchers focused on high-performing big data systems. Topics of interest include machine learning systems such as neural network systems (training and inference) and storage systems for AI. Examples of our group’s past work on these topics can be found here and most of the work is centered around the Data Calculator concept of self-designing systems: http://daslab.seas.harvard.edu/.
This postdoctoral position will be affiliated with the data systems laboratory @ Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (DASlab@Harvard SEAS ).
Basic Qualifications
Candidates are required to have a doctorate or terminal degree in Computer Science or a related area by the expected start date.
