Position Description
The Ölveczky (olveczkylab.oeb.harvard.edu) and Uchida (projects.iq.harvard.edu/uchidalab/home) labs at Harvard University are seeking a postdoc to join a collaborative team probing social interactions in rats and the role of dopamine in regulating these in both normal individuals and in genetic models of autism. The project will combine sophisticated machine learning-based behavioral tracking with photometric measurements of dopamine in different parts of the striatum of freely behaving animals. The position is fully funded, and interested applicants should contact either Dr Ölveczky or Uchida, with a CV and statement of purpose.
Basic Qualifications
A successful applicant would have:
• Ph.D. in neurobiology or related field
• A solid track record of scientific publications and international conference presentations
