PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Schwarzman College of Computing (SCC)-Break Through Tech AI (https://computing.mit.edu/about/diversity-equity-inclusion/break-through-tech-ai/) (2 openings), to perform complex and diverse duties--under minimal supervision--in support of the director of the SCC. Will support the recruitment and retention of a cohort of program participants each year. Will help recruit and select participants from colleges and universities throughout New England; be responsible for the logistics of recruitment, communications, and events; assist the director with matching program participants to relevant internships and tracking the data to measure progress-to-goal so that students achieve transformational career outcomes; serve as the primary point of contact for students and play an essential role in reinforcing the appropriate expectations, tone, and student community that will enable participants to be their authentic selves and persist throughout the program. Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least two years of administrative and/or program management experience; experience coordinating or managing student services, event planning, program coordination, or recruitment in either an academic or corporate setting; strong organizational and project management skills; demonstrated experience meeting milestones and deadlines over a sustained period of time.
