PROGRAM MANAGER, Open Learning Office, to partner with MIT instructors and third-party vendors to design, develop, and deliver MIT xPRO online programs. Will serve as a key member of a growing team, ensuring programs are delivered on schedule, within scope, within budget, and on brand; apply knowledge of adult learning theory to the design and development of online learning solutions and serve as a subject matter expert for online learning, learning technologies, and learning solutions; maintain an understanding of educational technologies and their potential applications; oversee porting of all content into the technology platform that delivers MIT xPRO programs; perform quality assurance and beta testing for online programs; and develop and maintain program documentation. Will report to the senior director of xPRO.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a bachelor's degree in adult or workplace learning and performance, education, and psychology, instructional design, instructional technology, or related field; proven ability to design a variety of learning solutions for a broad array of delivery methods (e.g., blended, eLearning, instructor-led, simulations, virtual, mobile); proven experience with technology-based learning design and learning management systems; project management skills, including proactive communication, collaboration and problem solving skills; experience working in fast-paced setting and managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines; and written and oral communication skills. A master’s degree and graphic design skills preferred. Job #16263-P
