Department:Environmental Health - Environmental, Occupational Medicine & EpidemiologyPre-Employment Screening:Criminal, IdentityJob Function:Research Duties & Responsibilities:The Environmental & Occupational Medicine & Epidemiology (EOME) Program in the Department of Environmental Health has an opening for a Laboratory Assistant. The EOME program seeks to investigate and prevent heath risks associated with environmental and occupational hazards by conducting original research and outstanding professional education. The ultimate goal of our research is to provide scientific basis for prudent and responsible decisions in environmental, occupational, and health standards, and to inform and inspire clinical and public health practice.

The laboratory assistant will assist with:
Laboratory experiments according to prescribed procedures
Data entry, sample inventory and database maintenance
Cleaning and basic maintenance of lab equipment
ordering supplies and maintaining equipment inventory
- Other duties as assigned
