Job Function:Research Job-Specific Responsibilities:Our laboratory seeks to understand the mechanisms of the release and signaling of neurotransmitters. We use a variety of approaches including genetic, molecular, electrophysiological, imaging and behavioral techniques. We are looking for a laboratory technician to assist with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to basic molecular and cell biology techniques (plasmid DNA preparation, PCR, cloning, tissue culture, tissue collection from mutant animals, etc.), preparing solutions and stocks, ordering supplies, and working with post-docs and/or students for maintaining our mutant mouse strains.
