Department:ImmunologyPre-Employment Screening:Identity Schedule:40 hrs. per week | Monday - Friday Job Function:Research Duties & Responsibilities:The Research Assistant will belong to an exciting team analyzing the role of neuro-immune interactions in neurodegenerative disease. We specifically will be understanding how the microbiome and bacteria could be used to target neurons to slow neuronal death. Our lab is in the growing field of neuroimmunology.
The research assistant will carry out primary experiments working with mouse models of neurological disease. They will perform behavioral analysis and histological analysis, working closely with postdoctoral fellows in the lab.
